Model 8340 HPHT Consistometers are specifically designed with “laboratory efficiency and easy of operation in mind,” it’s announced.
They deliver ability to test cement mixtures and additives for use in the hottest temperatures and highest pressures. They test cement thickening behavior under almost any downhole well condition, notes their maker.
Model 8340 minimizes the two greatest contributors of instrument downtime: cool-down time between tests; downtime for repair and maintenance. Its cooling system shortens time between tests as much as 75% compared to conventional designs: Cool down of a 400°F. test to a safe 100°F. takes about 15 min.
For simple operation, all consistometer operational controls are conveniently located on the front panel. Units are designed so closure, heating, and pressurization are quickly achieved. Full 8340 details are free.
