XPipe metallic composite pipe (patent pending) for onshore oil and gas pipelines is illustrated and described in this free brochure.
It’s noted “the products that are able to be transported using XPipe are virtually limitless, due to the use of a Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) liner and Ultra-High Strength Steel (UHSS) reinforcing strips. The metallic composite pipe’s design is based on a thin-walled liner that provides fluid containment. XPipe’s current liner design is based on 316L stainless steel but can be varied to fluid service requirements. You can define the grade of steel, stainless steel, specialty alloy, or even reinforced thermoplastic to suit a given fluid applications. Too, The XPipe process allows pipe to be manufactured at the pipeline right-of-way to save construction costs.
