Drills work underwater or in hazardous areas

Underwater applications and Class 1 hazardous areas are effectively served by this multi-applicable HB-4400 hydraulic magnetic drill.

With 1.5-hp motor and 6.5-gpm oil flow at 2,000 psi, this tool accomplishes structural steel drilling or on other metals. It has a permanent “fail safe” magnet manually operated with a ratchet control. HB-4400 will continue to hold up to 1,300 lb even if the drill motor’s power supply is interrupted.

With cutter stroke up to 3 3/4 in., models efficiently drill holes up to 2 1/16-in. diameter and 3 in. deep in steel. A 3/4-in. chuck easily converts the drill into a standard drill press with a 6 3/4-in. stroke for solid twist drills for up to 1/2-in. diameters in steel. Automatic lubrication facilitates drilling and cutting.
