FLAMEVISION (FV) 40 series flame detectors are announced as available in five configurable models. They’re engineered to provide flexibility to meet needs of multiple industries and environments in which the risk of flame is significant.
FV-40 is designed as a smart instrument for any facility where the presence of flame poses a hazard, notes its manufacturer. It senses multiple flame types and operates in the harshest of environments. Each detector has a different level of flame detection technology. FV-40 single IR detects hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires. FV-40 UV recognizes invisible hydrogen flames and fires from hydrides, ammonia, silane, or other organics and also detects hydrocarbon-based fuel and gas fires. FV-40 UV/IR senses and analyzes radiant energy in the short wavelength band of both UV and IR portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Triple and multi-IR versions are also on the market.
