PETOL slim grip tongs are shown and described in this free datasheet “to meet the need when a ‘pipe wrench’ with torque rating is required to make-up and break-out connections having narrow gripping areas.”
The tongs are self-adjusting and ratchet easily. You stab the tongs onto the workpiece and you’re ready to work, declares the literature.
Two models are offered with 1.75 and 1.25-in. gripping width in 2 3/8 to 4 in. and 3 1/2 to 6 1/2 in., respectively.
