High-temperature UPS designs introduced

SSG-RP ultra-wide temperature uninterruptible power systems are on the market from 1 to 3kVa. They’re designed to serve computers, control systems, and automated instruments in protected locations subject to temperature extremes from -22° to +149°F. / -30° to +65°C.

SSG-RP’s high-temperature LED display, internal components, and special batteries are engineered to handle the wide temperature range. The regenerative online UPS shields internal components from temperature extremes. This translates to lower maintenance costs both in money spent on new batteries and time taken to get a service person on-site.

The new UPS’ batteries come packaged in a separate 2U enclosure. They are “hot swappable” so they can be changed while the UPS is still in use.
