Model 524 & 625 MicroSafe gas detection sensors have been upgraded to “D” series transmitters with improved, more rugged circuitry plus better fault diagnostics, it’s announced.
The nonintrusive “smart” sensors feature embedded intelligence to make operator interface simple and menu-driven with fully scripted instructions. The upgrade also offers advanced transmitter modules that are backward-compatible with all the manufacturer’s MicroSafe TP and FP sensors.
TPD-524D / TP-624D hydrogen sulfide sensors detect and monitor H2S in air over 0 to 100 ppm. FP-524D / FP-624D catalytic bead monitors combustible gases in air over 0 to 100% LEL.
The upgrade/improvement also incorporates a surge protection design. It transorbs on all lines, reverse wire protection diodes, resettable fuses, and Ferrite Beads. The assembly comprises the sensor in a stainless steel housing, plug-in control transmitter circuit, base connector board, plus explosionproof enclosure.
