Combat severe corrosion with ArcMelt 3201 composite wire or solid wire coatings.
They are engineered to obtain a greater than 35% maximum chromium content. The TWAS coatings are extremely dense, have uniform porosity, and no oxide stringers or planular structures which would provide corrosive media paths, according to their manufacturer.
With 3201, there is no need for a traditional seal coat against corrosion. If used with the company’s base coat, this material is said to resist corrosion in the most extreme aqueous environments.
TWAS-applied coatings will passivate quickly and prevent penetration and delamination from the base materials. It can be applied thinner than weld overlays with no distortion or dilution. More coatings data are free.
