The activated alumina chemically and physically modified formulation can be used at the point of drilling and at the point of use for maximum performance, declares its’ developer. As a solution for gas and industrial liquid dehydration, Drysphere contains a dust-free, spherical activated alumina manufactured as specialized desiccant agents. These work through the process of adsorption to remove water, oil, or heavy hydrocarbons from inert gases include nitrogen, helium, and argon.
Among wide applications are natural gas in production and compression plants, catalyst for Claus conversion in sub dewpoint processes, and drying of such organic liquids as LPG, butane, steam cracked liquids, aromatics, cyclohexane, gasoline, chloro and fluoro hydrocarbons, or aromatic solvents.
