Digital torque testers work almost anywhere

DTT digital torque testers are announced to work almost anywhere from manufacturing plants to repair centers.

Their light weight combines with an integral transducer and sturdy housing so DTT can be wall mounted or employed in a benchtop vise to accurately test torque wrenches and torque screwdrivers.

The instruments feature an easy-to-use 4.7-in. touchpad screen to capture peak torque values during real-time testing. They allow download of test data to a PC.

Six models range in capacity from 1/4-in. drive, 10 to 100-in. oz to 3/4-in. drive, 60 to 600-ft-lb. All display readings in US, Newton meters, and kilogram-centimeter torque units. DTTs are sold as complete kits that include the tester, hard carrying case, two socket drive reducer adapters, AC/DC power supply, AC adapter, and USB cable.
