Wireless Ethernet-serial master links up to 384 I/O points

“CIX” communication interface extender systems are on the market in both 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz versions.

Declared by their manufacturer as “not your standard I/O,” the wireless Ethernet-serial hybrid master links up to 384 I/O points. It’s engineered for flow measurement, control, metering, and automation applications. There it delivers a cost-effective, easy-to-implement, industrial-grade I/O extender that directly connects a PLC’s communication ports (serial or Ethernet) to I/O points. This is accomplished without complicated PLC programming or proprietary software.

With a ratio of up to 16 remotes for each master, a full network provides a total of 384 I/O points. Each CIX6x00/R remote provides eight discrete inputs, eight discrete outputs, four analog inputs, and four analog outputs (12-bit analog resolution).

CIX is compatible with its maker’s proprietary LincView OPC RF network diagnostic and management software. Full CIX details are yours free.
