New high-temp accelerometers assist gas turbines monitoring

New 6237M70 and 6237M71 piezoelectric accelerometers are for gas turbine monitoring/maintenance in extreme high temperatures.

They feature 10-pC/g output for continuous operation at up to 1,200°F. with long MTBF, declares the manufacturer. Low profile design facilitates installation in cramped locations with minimal structural support.

6237M70 has its sensitive axis located inline with the mounting screw while 6237M71 is perpendicular or transverse to the mounting screw. Both accelerometers are ground isolated. Each offers 11-kHz resonant frequency with 3-kHz (±5%) frequency response.

The charge output piezoelectric devices are self generating. They require no external power for operation. Complete accelerometers data are yours free.
