Resolution to project scheduling — by pinpointing problem areas — is delivered by newly launched, patent pending Acumen Fuse metric analysis and visualization tool.
It analyzes schedule, cost, risk, earned value, and project performance to simplify complex project analysis. It also allows project managers to see problems before they happen, to keep projects on track, declares its developer.
Acumen Fuse takes snapshots throughout a project so you can see where it is changing and what is causing changes. It allows you to perform path analysis along any project point to show what activities need to be done along any project path. Besides running a standard Fuse analysis, you can use the tool’s Comparison Analyzer. It compares scenarios, metrics, and phases against each other. This allows you to determine issues that have not been resolved from a prior month, along with what activities are causing changes and exactly where problems are.
Acumen Fuse includes industry standard and advanced metrics libraries. The program offers native analytical support for widely recognized DCMA 14 Point Schedule assessment (including secondary tripwires). Standard schedule checks can be run on all supported Fuse platforms to ensure pinpointed identification of scheduling issues and guidance as to how to fix them.
Complete information on the new tool, which its developer calls “the cure to finding needles in stacks of schedules,” is free upon request.
