Flash point tester doesn’t test with open flame

Newly developed Grabner MiniFlash flash point testers are continuously closed cup. They require only 1-mL of sample.

They are announced as “the first tester that doesn’t test with an open flame.” This allows the instrument’s safe operation and without supervision.

Flash point testing within MiniFlash has been developed according to ASTM D6450 and D7094 which gives results equivalent to ASTM D56, D93, or ISO 2719.

D6450 and D7094 methods are used worldwide to determine flash points of gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel, and other substances. Temperature range is from -13° to + 750°F. / -25° to +400°C.
