Pac 3500 and 5500 single-gas detectors have been launched to measure oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon monoxide concentrations in air.
As an expansion of this manufacturer’s product line, both instruments use minimal battery power and have low maintenance requirements.
Pac 3500 offers a 2-year lifespan while Pac 5500 has an indefinite service life with proper maintenance and servicing, it’s noted. Both detectors integrate XXS sensors to offer an expected lifespan of 5 to 8 years. The same is true of their oxygen sensor. It operates consumption-free and has been produced lead-free.
Each instrument allows the gas to enter the sensor from several directions. This reduces risk of an accidentally covered inlet preventing access to the sensor for measurement. The sensors detect gases quickly and reliably. When used to detect hydrogen sulfide, the instrument indicates measurements with one decimal point and, as a result, is for low warning thresholds and reduced limit values.
