Insertion mist eliminator “fix”

MistFix insertion mist eliminator delivers a “quick fix” for situations where you can’t cut into a vessel to replace the mist eliminator.

It serves when cutting, welding, and re-piping a vessel is not feasible. The need to re-certify to ASME is eliminated.

MistFix is designed to provide more surface area and can increase separating efficiency, it’s noted.

The cylindrical insertion mist eliminator can most often be installed through the discharge nozzle. Although the inserts remain limited by their pad thickness, they have significantly diminished entrainment from numerous knock-out vessels in the field.

MistFix pad construction, materials length, and width are determined by process conditions as well as nozzle dimensions and vessel diameter.
