Vital instrumentation, electrical components, and other critical process controls are safeguarded by new remote instrument enclosures. They also help maintain facility operations in the event of a blast.
Subjected to highest industry tests, reported to surpass government and industry safety standards, the enclosures are engineered to protect operator control rooms, satellite field operator stations, emissions control and monitoring, electrical switchgear, motor control centers, UPS, and electrical controls.
Securing equipment with the blast-resistant RIEs allows power and vital components to be available for safe shutdown if there is a blast — so there is ongoing facility reliability.
Use of the blast-resistant enclosures are also emphasized to “significantly mitigate downtime.”
