Certified for operation in explosive atmospheres are FL4000H multi-spectrum infrared (MSIR) models. They deliver outstanding false alarm immunity with wide field of view. They employ a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array and artificial neural network. Designs reliably discriminate between actual flames and false alarm sources to detect such hydrocarbon fires as those produced by alcohol, n-heptane, gasoline, and jet fuels. They see through dense smoke, notes their maker.
FL3100H detects hydrocarbon and hydrogen fires by monitoring in both UV and IR spectra. They are highly immune to false alarms.
FL3101H UV flame detectors detect fires and provide alarm outputs directly from the detector while maintaining false alarm immunity. Besides detecting hydrocarbon fires, they’re also suited for sulfur and silane hazards.
FL3102 IR flame detectors detect radiation from a flame’s IR spectral region. Their design is immune to false alarms caused by lightning, arc welding, hot objects, or other radiation sources.
