ST75 Thermal Mass Flow Meters are now ATEX and IECEx approved for safety in hazardous and potentially explosive plant environments.

Models are engineered to deliver “a highly accurate flow measurement solution for process gas, fuel gas, inert gas, or waste gases, as well as air in small line sizes,” according to their manufacturer.

ST75 is designed for 0.25 to 2-in. / 6 to 51-mm line sizes. It delivers three outputs: mass flow rate, totalized flow, and media temperature for widely ranging applications. A 10:1 to 100:1 turndown range is factory preset.

The flow meter’s media temperature compensation ensures performance in rugged environments. It features ±2% of reading accuracy with ±0.5% repeatability.

The instrument’s flow element has a no-moving-parts design. It employs platinum RTD sensors embedded in equal mass thermowells with microprocessor electronics calibrated to laboratory standards for a wide range of gases. These include natural gas, methane, nitrogen, CO2, argon, all inert gases, and compressed air.

Models are declared equally well suited for low and high flow operations over 0.01 to 559 scfm / 0.01 to 950-NCMH, depending on line sizes. Full ST75 data are free.
