Oil-based mud filter cake cleanup systems on market

Arcasolve Orca OBM (oil-based mud) filter cake cleanup systems are newly developed for a wide range of brines.

The cleanup formulation is effective in several of the most common high-density carrier fluids. These include potassium formate, calcium chloride, and sodium bromide, according to the manufacturer.

Arcasolve Orca’s effective removal of mud filter cake is especially applicable to optimize well performance as openhole horizontal/directional completions are increasingly employed. In those operations, drawdown alone reportedly cannot be relied upon to clean up filter cake along the whole of the wellbore. More data are free.
