Underwater-usable pneumatic rotary hammer

Model 2 2404 0030 pneumatic rotary hammers are offered as “safer than similar electric hammer drills in

hazardous atmospheres and wet environments.” They’re designed to be used underwater.

The tool’s air exhaust is piped away from it to eliminate air bubbles, giving divers a clear work area view.

This hammer is ATEX certified for use in oil and gas drilling hazardous environments. It uses SDS-Plus solid carbide tipped masonry drill bits up to 1 in. or SDS-Plus carbide core drill bits up to 3-in. Its powerful motor hammer drills concrete with 3,000 blow/min.

Model 2 2404 0030 can also be converted to straight rotary drilling with a 625-rpm for steel or wood. It drills up to 1/2-in. diameter, wood up to 3/4 in.
