Seven new Spline Box Wrenches and 15 new Spline Combination Wrenches are now on the market.
Each is for high-tensile-strength fasteners in heavy machinery. Used on a spline fastener, geometric profile of the wrench’s teeth provides large contact area between tool and fastener. This lets you apply more torque for a given fastener size than can be applied to a standard 6 or 12-point hex. Extra torque reduces chance a fastener will be loosened by vibration. Precise fit between this tool and fastener also means fewer lost fasteners and less chance of machinery foreign object damage.
