The pumping units are twin cylinder nitrogen/hydraulic, low-profile, high-efficiency designs. They are based on two nitrogen over hydraulic cylinders. When properly balanced by pressure they create “a pumping unit that knows no depth to a well,” according to their developer.
Models are engineered to run on 33% of the horsepower and energy necessary to operate a conventional pumping unit. Pump efficiency is increased due to consistency of strokes. These pump jacks are one-fourth the size of conventional units with less moving parts for fewer pinch points and a safer working environment, it’s noted.
