Models are designed to reduce installation and operating costs via Metallic Sealed Reference Sensor (MSRS). They operate at up to 1,500°C. and are easy to install, simple to operate, and economically maintained, it’s announced.
With its MSRS sensor, this analyzer operates effectively at temperatures significantly higher than other technologies, it’s declared. It may be installed close to the radiation zone to provide accurate readings. It helps avoid ambient air leakage which can contaminate sample gas at installation locations further downstream, resulting in false readings.
MSRS technology is based on a sealed metallic reference allowing air to be used as a calibration gas. Design reduces installation and maintenance costs. If sensor replacement is needed — it can be performed within minutes without interrupting a process. It also incorporates rugged sensor cell design.
XZR-500 flue gas analyzers are engineered to deliver long life span compared to conventional zirconia-based configurations.
When operated in extremely dirty applications, the instrument’s robust MSRS cell can be combined with a particle blow-back mechanism to maximize reliability, declares the manufacturer.
