FlexStream progressive rotary control ball valves are specifically designed for LNG, offshore, oil and gas, power, refining, petrochemical, transportation, or storage applications.
They combine quarter-turn valve efficiencies with energy dissipating properties of a tortuous trim element for demanding duties.
The valve’s patented trim element is based on a series of tortuous paths created by a stack of plates inserted in the ball’s flow passage. They force process fluid through a sequence of right-angle turns. This provides controlled velocity, and pressure reduction needed to combat cavitation and flashing. It also reduces noise.
The valve offers large capacity in fully open position. It comprises optimized features for pressure and flow control. It delivers tight shutoff to meet ANSI VI for soft-seated valves; ANSI Class V for metal-seated.
FlexStreams come in 2 to 36 in. to easily fit existing pipe configurations.
They are available from ANSI 150 to 2500 or API 5000 to 15000.
Models can be constructed as trunnion or floating ball types to meet -321° to + 1,447°F. / -196° to +787°C. Full details are free.
