Scrubber level controls meet low emission standards

This Low-Bleed Scrubber Level Control System is designed to meet low emission standards per EPA’s

STAR program. And it does so under normal operation without modification.

For a system to qualify as low emission it must release 6 scfh of methane gas or less into the atmosphere under normal operating conditions, according to the program.

This system provides for liquid control in gas scrubber applications. It dumps liquids to drain and protect compressors with a high liquid level switch. Wetted parts are made to survive constant corrosive environments. The system is for scrubbers with 500 to 2,000-psig maximum operating pressures.

This system’s LS200 Dump Valve Operator has been successfully tested against the new voluntary STAR Program regulations. Its’ manufacturer took the necessary steps to ensure its scrubber level system was in EPA STAR’s low-emission standards conformance.

Complete scrubber level control system data are free.
