Fifteen models of ProMinent Process Metering Pumps are on the market in hydraulic and piston configurations to “reliably convey corrosive, toxic, and flammable media - at high delivery rates, high pressures, and within broad temperature ranges.” A triplex MFS model is shown left as representative of this metering pumps line.
The modular designed pumps are applicable at up to 3,000 bar over -40° to +400°C. to meter high to very high-viscosity liquids. Media with a dynamic viscosity of up to 1-million mPas are pumped.
These process pumps are designed for metering chemicals at wells and may be used on rigs to meter inhibitors, methanol, and additives. Also in refining and transportation, all models are suited for metering inhibitors, drag reducers, additives, catalysts, and pigments.
Among specific ProMinent models are EXtronic diaphragm metering pumps for use at sites with potentially explosive atmospheres in accordance with Zone 1, Group II. Sigma diaphragm metering pumps come in basic versions without their own internal electronics and as microprocessor types for fast, reliable adaptation to varying metering tasks. They are equipped with Profibus DP interface. Other process metering pumps in this product line include Hydro/2 and 3, Makro TZ and 5, Orlita MF and MH, Meta piston, Orlita PS piston and DR valveless piston designs.
