Pump SystemAlert rotating equipment monitoring systems are unveiled by Texas Instruments Sensors & Controls, Attleboro, Massachusetts for noncritical machines.
They utilize both electrical and mechanical input parameters to deliver real-time equipment health status of both pump systems or other motor-driven machinery.
Pump SystemAlert, unlike sporadic monitoring with portable equipment, combines traditional vibration sensing with electrical sensing. This enables you to channel process or system-related parameters into the monitor for custom alarm settings and additional machine health status information.
The system's continuous mechanical and electrical conditions monitoring capabilities not only identify root equipment problems, but also generate data that can be integrated with distributed control systems. This will provide critical flow, pressure, temperature, etc information - throughout an entire facility.
The new system allows existing or new sensors installation throughout a piece of rotating equipment to continuously collect and record maintenance and process data in real time.
